This Heavy Duty Mechanic position serves Transdev Canada’s Abbotsford maintenance operation. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel injection, suspension, brake, drivetrain, steering, and transmission systems. The work supports reliable transit fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative, safety, and annual vehicle inspections
- Diagnose and repair diverse vehicle systems
- Complete routine maintenance and equipment servicing




- Overhaul and reinstall mechanical components
- Document work orders and maintenance records accurately

Requirements:

- Red Seal certification in an applicable mechanic trade
- Valid British Columbia Class 5 licence with Air Brake Endorsement
- Air Brake Certification and CVIP certification or eligibility
- Diesel and gasoline vehicle repair experience
- Computerized diagnostic tools and maintenance software experience
