Lead harvesting and road operations with Interfor in Grand Forks, British Columbia, coordinating field activities, contractors, and safety inspections.

As Harvesting Roads Supervisor, you will support the Grand Forks Woodlands operation across harvesting, road construction, maintenance, crossings, and engineered structures. The work requires BC Interior forestry knowledge, contractor coordination, and regulatory awareness. You will also contribute to forecasting, quality initiatives, and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and monitor harvesting and road construction activities
- Conduct safety and environmental inspections and investigate incidents
- Manage contractor performance and corrective actions
- Coordinate road inspections and maintain inspection records




- Support forecasting, log quality, and operational improvements

Requirements:

- Three or more years of BC Interior forestry experience preferred
- Knowledge of harvesting systems and road construction techniques
- Eligibility for Association of BC Forest Professionals accreditation
- Working knowledge of Forest Act, FPPR, and WorkSafe requirements
- Valid Class 5 license and ability to operate an ATV
