Lead operational accounting and financial oversight as an Assistant Controller in the Tri-Cities, working full-time on-site with machine vision leaders.
This senior-level accounting position reports to the President of a privately held industrial technology and engineering company. The hands-on role spans corporate accounting, Canadian tax matters, payroll, benefits, HR, inventory, production, and facilities. You will also support customer-facing activities and supervise key operational staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting and financial operations across multiple entities
- Manage Canadian income tax, SR&ED;, and investment matters
- Oversee payroll, benefits, HR, recruitment, and performance reviews
- Manage inventory, production operations,
and operational staff
- Support sales, RMAs, quotations, and light technical assistance
Requirements:
- CPA designation with strong accounting and managerial experience
- Controller-level operational and accounting background
- Multi-entity and multi-currency accounting experience
- Ability to work independently in a stand-alone finance function
- Comfort working full-time in office in the Tri-Cities
