Port Truck Driver (CDL)

We are seeking an experienced Port Truck Driver to transport containers to and from port terminals and designated locations. This position involves drop-and-hook operations with no waiting for cargo loading or unloading.

Responsibilities

- Safely transport containers between port terminals and designated locations.
- Perform drop-and-hook operations, ensuring trailers and chassis are properly connected and secured.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate trip records, delivery paperwork, and other required documentation.
- Follow applicable DOT regulations, port security requirements,



and company safety procedures.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding assignments, container availability, and delays.

Qualifications

- Valid CDL appropriate for the assigned equipment.
- Valid TWIC card and successful completion of TWIC verification.
- 2–3 years of port truck driving experience.
- Familiarity with port terminal procedures, container transportation, and drop-and-hook operations.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and maintain accurate documentation.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and robust communication skills.
