Operate critical utility systems as Richardson International’s Assistant Shift Engineer at Yorkton Oilseed, using boiler and process expertise daily.

This Assistant Shift Engineer position supports the Shift Engineer across Richardson Oilseed’s integrated processing operation. You will operate process boilers, steam distribution, condensate return, ammonia refrigeration, compressed air, and fire protection systems. The work also includes process monitoring, quality testing, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with process boiler and steam system operation
- Operate ammonia refrigeration and cooling water equipment
- Monitor process parameters and troubleshoot process upsets
- Operate wastewater treatment and high pressure steam systems




- Maintain logs and perform finished oil quality testing

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Third Class Power Engineer license, or Fourth Class pursuing Third Class
- Minimum two years’ boiler and cooling water experience
- Process operation experience and practical problem solving ability
- Ability to interpret instructions and multitask
