This Relief Operator works alongside full-time operations staff to provide added support. The position helps ensure operational activities remain safe and effective. Duties include assisting with maintenance preparation, permitting, equipment lockout, purging, and pipeline pigging.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take plant readings and perform equipment checks
- Complete safety equipment checks
- Assist operators with equipment lockout and purging
- Change filters and assist with pipeline pigging
- Support protected work permitting for maintenance tasks

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certificate
- Or work toward the 4th Class certificate
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Positive attitude and desire to learn
