The Residential Program Manager directs The Salvation Army Thunder Bay, Journey to Life Centre residential programs. This position oversees services, resources, policies, client documentation, staffing, and community coordination. It ensures programs operate effectively and follow organizational guidelines, contractual requirements, legal requirements, and the mission.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, administer, and direct residential programs
- Oversee client services, procedures, supplies, and community resources
- Manage hiring, orientation, coaching, evaluations, and staff development
- Prepare schedules, reports, documentation,



and Workday approvals
- Enforce safety, security, and health procedures

Requirements:

- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act Sections 25 and 26
- Ability to supervise and manage non-supervisory personnel
- Ability to work with residents, staff, volunteers, and partners
- Ability to follow organizational, contractual, legal, and safety requirements
- Ability to attend approved community meetings
