Apply CAT ET diagnostics and heavy-duty maintenance skills as a Heavy Duty Mechanic at remote camps in Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut. Work three weeks on, then three weeks off.

Matrix seeks an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain surface fleet equipment supporting production. The work includes loaders, dozers, excavators, graders, SnowCats, haul trucks, and light or heavy-duty trucks. Solid CAT systems knowledge, including CAT ET and CAT SIS, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive and corrective surface fleet maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults
- Use CAT ET and CAT SIS for troubleshooting
- Complete inspections and accurate work-order documentation
- Respond to breakdowns and planned shutdowns

Requirements:

- Red Seal or Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Minimum three to five years mining equipment experience
- Surface fleet maintenance experience
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and diesel knowledge
- Experience in remote northern and cold-weather conditions
