Project XIII is recruiting for a well-established geotechnical and materials testing firm. This engineer will lead construction materials QA/QC while supervising the concrete and materials testing lab. The work includes field investigation, technical reporting, and client-facing technical leadership on materials testing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the concrete and construction materials testing lab
- Coordinate laboratory testing activities and construction materials work
- Conduct field investigation work as required
- Write and review technical reports
- Act as technical lead with materials testing clients
Requirements:
- Valid P.Eng. licence with PEO
- Five to ten years in construction materials QA/QC and testing
- Experience with CSA A23 standards or MTO testing an asset
- Strong technical report writing skills
- Readiness to supervise people and a laboratory
