As Senior Associate, Financial Controls, you will report to the Senior Director of SLC Management Financial Controls. The position supports internal control strategies across a global institutional asset manager. Your work spans ICFR SOX coordination, internal and external audits, service provider reports, risk evaluation, and financial reporting close activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the ICFR SOX program
- Support internal and external audits and resolve requests
- Lead annual SOC1 and CSAE 3416 audits
- Advise asset classes and senior management on controls
- Monitor control issues,
emerging risks, and mitigation timelines
Requirements:
- Skilled finance designation such as CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, or CFA
- Four or more years of financial services experience
- Internal or external audit, enterprise risk, or control development experience
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency and project management capability
