Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Representative for our Edmonton region you will be responsible for driving the growth of METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection and Eagle solutions within an assigned territory and targeted market segments. Through consultative, value-based selling and strong industry expertise, you will build long‑term customer relationships, establish METTLER TOLEDO and Eagle as preferred product inspection partners, and strengthen brand recognition across the market.

Additional Responsibilities

- Build and maintain robust relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers across operations, engineering, quality assurance, food safety, maintenance, procurement, and executive leadership teams.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective customers
- Manage the complete sales process from lead generation through quotation, negotiation, order acquisition, and project handoff.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and execute proactive follow‑up activities
- Conduct facility assessments, application reviews, product demonstrations, audits, and customer presentations
- Support trade shows, industry events, seminars, customer demonstrations, and educational workshops.
- Leverage CRM data to effectively manage territory activities, sales forecasting, marketing initiatives,



inventory planning, and business reporting requirements.
- Participate in regular pipeline reviews, forecast discussions, business planning activities, and sales strategy meetings.

What You Need to Succeed

- College or university diploma focused around engineering or machinery disciplines along with 3-5 years of industry and sales experience.
- Industrial experience in automation, process controls, or capital equipment
- Self‑starter with professional maturity, excellent communication, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Must be willing to travel. Overnight travel requirements for this position may be up to 40%.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
