Lead strategic account management for Liberty customers while developing natural gas opportunities, sales proposals, and energy efficiency solutions.
As a Key Account Manager II at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., you will manage large commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential accounts. Build customer loyalty, pursue growth channels, and support customers and contractors through sales and project completion. Partner with economic development organizations across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess natural gas opportunities and develop sales proposals and business cases
- Identify and sell energy efficiency opportunities to customers
- Strengthen Trade Ally Contractor relationships within the Liberty team
- Manage assigned accounts and monitor customer satisfaction
- Provide timely emergency information during on-call or outage scenarios
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of skilled experience
- 3+ years in related account management roles
- Exceptional account management experience, preferably in utilities
- Bilingual French and English is an asset
