Handle complex transportation claims from Charger Logistics’ Brampton office, applying commercial lines knowledge and calm judgment during responsible incidents.
This Claims Adjuster evaluates litigated and bodily injury claims involving company vehicles or drivers. The position requires experience with transportation liability, Microsoft Outlook and Excel, and claims or safety operations. You will document files, coordinate investigations, and communicate with insurers, claimants, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and adjudicate complex claims, including litigation matters
- Oversee bodily injury claim investigations, evaluations, and resolutions
- Adjust physical damage and unreported damage claims
- Prepare file summaries for reporting, large losses,
and reinsurance
- Manage vendors, payments, police reports, and claim files
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in insurance or a related program
- Two-plus years in trucking, claims, safety, or compliance preferred
- Experience with commercial lines and transportation liability
- Advanced Microsoft Outlook and Excel knowledge
- Ability to remain calm during crisis situations
