Lead commercial property accounting at Colliers, using team coaching and full-cycle expertise. This hybrid position is available in Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary.

As Accounting Manager, you will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and lead a property accounting team. You will oversee monthly and quarterly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, operating cost recoveries, tax reconciliations, audits, and special projects. Your experience will support accurate, timely client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop property accounting staff
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, recoveries, taxes, audits, and reporting
- Review working papers and resolve accounting issues
- Coordinate annual and monthly accounting deadlines




- Improve team delivery quality, effectiveness, and efficiency

Requirements:

- Five or more years of progressive commercial property accounting experience
- Qualified accounting designation, preferably CPA, and related degree
- Experience training and overseeing junior accounting staff
- Expertise in CAM and tax recovery calculations
- Knowledge of commercial property accounting software, such as Yardi
