Perched atop the locally owned and operated Chateau Victoria Hotel & Suites, Vista 18 Restaurant & Lounge is Victoria’s only rooftop restaurant, offering guests breathtaking views alongside a locally inspired culinary experience. For over 25 years, Vista 18 has been a proud part of the Victoria culinary scene and is known for its warm hospitality, exceptional food, and relaxed upscale atmosphere. We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our team with passion, professionalism, and a guest-first mindset.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

As Restaurant Manager, with support from the F&B; Manager as required, you will:

Lead daily operations of Vista 18 Restaurant & Lounge, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
Train, coach and support front-of-house staff in delivering skilled and personable service.
Oversee the department hiring, scheduling, and performance management.
Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to maintain consistency in quality and standards.




Manage ordering and inventory of front of house beverages and mise-en-place
Monitor restaurant metrics (labour, guest satisfaction, revenue, etc.) and implement improvements where needed.
Maintain adherence to food safety, licensing, and workplace safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

Prior restaurant leadership or supervisory experience (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A collaborative and hands-on management style.
Passion for hospitality and a focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain).
