Apply precision manual machining and inspection skills with TC Energy in Airdrie, Alberta, supporting critical compression equipment repairs. This full time position combines conventional machining with mechanical repair.

As a Red Seal Certified Manual Machinist, you will repair, overhaul, inspect, and refurbish compression and rotating equipment. Your work includes operating manual machine tools, interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements, and verifying dimensional tolerances. You will collaborate with mechanical trades, inspection personnel, planners, and engineering support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate conventional manual machine tools
- Manufacture and restore components to OEM specifications
- Measure finished work against dimensional tolerances




- Support compressor and turbine equipment repair activities
- Maintain organized work areas and mentor apprentices

Requirements:

- Red Seal Journeyperson Machinist Certification
- Five years of manual machining experience
- Experience with tolerances of ±0.001 inch or better
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and inspection reports
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work with rigging
