Lead Friedreich Ataxia medical strategy at Biogen in a hybrid Toronto setting, applying scientific leadership and evidence-generation expertise.

The Medical Lead directs affiliate medical planning within Biogen’s Medical Affairs organization. This management-level position requires Medical Affairs experience, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate complex evidence into action. You will support scientific exchange, medical readiness, and patient-focused initiatives across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute affiliate medical plans for Friedreich Ataxia
- Drive real-world, investigator-initiated, and company-sponsored evidence generation
- Lead KME engagement, advisory boards, and scientific consultations
- Guide MSL capability development and scientific exchange




- Support launches, submissions, HTA activities, and medical education

Requirements:

- Advanced degree in a relevant health or life sciences discipline
- At least seven years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology Medical Affairs experience
- Experience developing and executing affiliate medical plans
- Solid regulatory, safety, legal, and compliance understanding
- Fluent written and verbal English; travel approximately thirty to forty percent
