AlgaeCal seeks an experienced Senior Accountant with at least five years of accounting experience in an eCommerce setting. You will manage day-to-day accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cross-border tax work. The position also includes multi-entity consolidation, process improvement, and support for junior accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting functions and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile credit cards
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and expense monitoring
- Prepare CRA, IRS,



and VAT filings and working papers
- Improve processes, strengthen controls, and document procedures

Requirements:

- Five or more years of eCommerce accounting experience
- Accounting degree and CPA designation
- Experience with multi-entity consolidation and cross-border taxation
- Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, QuickBooks Online, and ERP systems
- Ability to lead by example and coach junior accountants
