Church’s Texas Chicken – Cook / Kitchen Team Member Location: 3355 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, ON L5A 4E7 Church’s Texas Chicken is hiring reliable, hardworking and motivated cooks to join our kitchen team. We are looking for individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness and safety. Job Responsibilities: •⁠ ⁠Prepare, marinate, bread and cook chicken according to company recipes and procedures. •⁠ ⁠Operate commercial fryers and other kitchen equipment safely. •⁠ ⁠Monitor cooking times, temperatures and product quality. •⁠ ⁠Prepare menu items and maintain proper food holding standards. •⁠ ⁠Follow food safety procedures, including proper storage, labelling and handling of raw chicken. •⁠ ⁠Maintain a clean and organized kitchen. •⁠ ⁠Wash, clean and sanitize equipment, utensils and workstations. •⁠ ⁠Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking supplies and rotating inventory. •⁠ ⁠Complete opening, closing and general cleaning duties.



•⁠ ⁠Work efficiently with other team members during busy periods. Requirements: •⁠ ⁠Previous fast food, restaurant or commercial kitchen experience is preferred. •⁠ ⁠Experience with fryers and chicken preparation is an asset. •⁠ ⁠Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. •⁠ ⁠Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions. •⁠ ⁠Strong teamwork and time management skills. •⁠ ⁠Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices. •⁠ ⁠Ability to stand for extended periods and perform regular kitchen duties. •⁠ ⁠Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required.
