Protect Arctiq clients remotely as a Tier One SOC Analyst, monitoring SIEM and EDR/XDR alerts across diverse security environments. Work assigned Day, Swing, or Night shifts within a 24x7 rotation.

This SOC Analyst position provides frontline detection and response experience across managed client portfolios. You will triage alerts, investigate suspicious activity, execute response playbooks, and document cases. The work uses attacker tradecraft, MITRE ATT&CK;, cyber kill chain concepts, and security telemetry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and triage SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity, email, network, and cloud alerts
- Classify severity and enrich every event handled
- Validate suspicious activity and investigate root causes
- Execute playbooks to isolate hosts and block indicators




- Maintain audit-grade case notes, timelines, and customer communications

Requirements:

- One or more years in IT security or security-focused IT support
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, protocols, Windows, Linux, and Active Directory
- Basic Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud knowledge
- Familiarity with SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms
- Ability to write or modify basic KQL, SPL, or similar queries
