Powerhouse maintenance skills are central to this permanent Finning assignment. Work in Nunavut repairing generators, engines, and mechanical systems for a Mining client.
As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will support operations in one of Canada’s most unique areas. Your responsibilities include diagnosing C-175 engine and genset repairs, servicing fuel systems and heat exchangers, and repairing PLC controllers. Customer and team interaction is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot C-175 engine or genset repairs
- Repair powerhouse engines, generators, and fuel systems
- Maintain heat exchangers and PLC controllers
- Interact with customers, sales support, and Finning teams
- Support the Service Supervisor with required tasks
Requirements:
- Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician qualification
- Dual Ticket Electrical certification considered an asset
- Valid driver’s licence with recent successful abstract
- Supervisory control system experience considered an asset
- Finning S-Levels or related training considered an asset
