Lead hands-on facilities maintenance at Camp Chief Hector YMCA and Camp Riveredge, coordinating safe operations, repairs, inspections, and staff support.

The Operations Supervisor supports safe, productive facility operations and maintenance for YMCA Calgary. This working leadership position provides daily direction to facility staff while coordinating preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and improvement projects. The role also supports the Asset Management team across camp facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain facilities according to regulations and YMCA Calgary standards
- Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and HVAC monitoring
- Lead staff scheduling, task assignment, training, and performance coaching
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, quotations, work orders,



and project progress
- Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation

Requirements:

- Hands-on technical maintenance experience across building systems
- Ability to perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and facility repairs
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call support
- Current mandatory YMCA training, including Standard First Aid and CPR
- Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

Support YMCA Calgary facilities through practical leadership, technical maintenance, regulatory compliance, and coordinated Asset Management initiatives.
