Support hospital patients through accurate registration, Microsoft Excel, and responsive reception services in this part time administrative position. Work all shifts while maintaining calm, courteous communication.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Registration Switchboard and Patient Information, the Administrative Support III handles complex administrative procedures. Duties include inpatient and outpatient registration, patient identification validation, financial responsibilities, and patient information services. The position also supports reception, switchboard operations, wayfinding, billing, reconciliations, deposits, supplies, and safekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process inpatient and outpatient admissions and registrations
- Verify patient identification and collect financial responsibilities
- Operate switchboard, direct calls,



and provide wayfinding
- Complete billing functions, reconciliations, deposits, and supply duties
- Monitor code phones and support patient safekeeping

Requirements:

- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Medical terminology and keyboarding proficiency test completion
- Knowledge of patient information access and privacy legislation
- Ability to prioritize interruptions and work all shifts
