Industrial automation maintenance technicians troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems while monitoring equipment performance and completing repairs safely. This position supports WITRON Service Canada Corporation’s automated logistics systems.

As an Application Support Technician, you maintain automated cranes, conveyors, and specialty equipment. Your work includes preventative maintenance, fault finding, root cause analysis, component replacement, calibration, and documentation. You also collaborate with technicians, operators, and site teams while following maintenance schedules, protocols, escalation procedures, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance and unplanned electrical and mechanical repairs
- Troubleshoot automated equipment, including cranes, conveyors, and specialty systems
- Complete root cause analysis, fault finding, recovery,



and resolution
- Monitor system performance and document maintenance activities
- Use WITRON’s computerized management system for work orders and shift crossovers

Requirements:

- Electromechanical engineering diploma, electrical qualification, or millwright qualification
- PLC programming and troubleshooting training or certification
- Three to five years’ industrial automation or manufacturing experience
- Comfort working with voltages up to 480V and 24V controls
- Ability to lift 25kg, climb, and work above 30 meters
