Lead heavy civil estimating and project management for Philson Ltd in the Fredericton Region, using cost control and construction coordination expertise.This Project Manager/Estimator supports civil projects valued from $500,000 to $30,000,000. Philson Ltd works across site development, road building, underground utilities, and water or wastewater treatment. You will collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.Key Responsibilities:
Review tenders and complete Go/No Go analysesPrepare quantity takeoffs, estimates, and bid packagesDevelop schedules, order materials, and coordinate subcontractorsTrack costs, change orders, and monthly cost-to-complete analysesPrepare progress billings and project close-out documentationRequirements:
At least five years in civil construction or engineeringCET, P.Tech, or P.Eng designation considered idealExperience with on-screen takeoff programsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and ProjectTrimble B2W Suite experience or comparable softwareApply project scheduling, estimating, documentation, and cost management skills across Philson Ltd heavy civil construction projects.
