Agency Overview:

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) is a Treasury Board Crown responsible for emergency communications, including Sask911 and Sask Alert, wildfire management, emergency management, and fire safety. This centralized agency ensures a single point of contact for communities, greater co-ordination of provincial resources and contributes to safer communities in our province.

The Prospect:

SPSA is seeking a permanent, full-time Assistant Fire Marshal to join the Fire Programs and Standards team at Headquarters. Reporting to the Fire Marshal, this position is responsible for advancing fire and life safety across Saskatchewan through inspections, investigations, code enforcement, and stakeholder education.

The successful candidate will also develop and deliver training to internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance on fire codes, legislation, inspections, and enforcement practices.
