BCIT’s School of Energy is seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Faculty, Electrical Engineering and Technology to join the Department of Electrical Engineering and Technology at the Burnaby campus. The position will primarily support the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) diploma, Power and Industrial Control option.

The successful candidate will teach theory and laboratory courses; develop, maintain, and continuously improve course materials and applied learning activities; assess student learning and provide timely feedback; supervise engineering and technology student projects; and contribute to departmental and program activities. The role requires current electrical-power industry knowledge, sound engineering analysis, strong hands-on capability, and a commitment to inclusive, applied education.

As a member of a collaborative faculty team, the successful candidate will support student success, curriculum currency, protected laboratory practice, accreditation-related work, and the effective operation and continuous improvement of the programs.
