Three weekly in office days are required.Supporting ABB’s Automation, Measurement & Analytics division, this Strategic Buyer manages suppliers and procurement categories. The work includes commercial agreements, supplier performance, cost structures, sourcing processes, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. The position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and works with internal stakeholders and global suppliers.Key Responsibilities:
Build relationships with strategic suppliers and assess capabilitiesNegotiate favorable pricing, terms, contracts,



and commercial conditionsMonitor agreements and ensure procurement policy complianceImplement supplier improvement plans and alternative sourcing solutionsCollaborate with engineering, quality, finance, and production teamsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement, business, or related fieldExperience in purchasing, procurement, or supplier managementExperience with sourcing processes, RFQs, RFPs, and cost analysisStrong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiencyStrong negotiation, communication, and commercial decision-making skillsApply supplier relationship expertise, commercial judgment, and cross-functional collaboration to strategic procurement at ABB Canada.
