As a Security Supervisor, you will oversee daily security operations, lead and support a team of security guards, and ensure compliance with site-specific security protocols and procedures. Working closely with personnel across all shifts, you will help maintain a secure, controlled, and professional environment while delivering exceptional client service and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities for Security Supervisor
Supervise, lead, and support a team of on-site security guards, ensuring professional and effective security operations.
Manage and maintain daily staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage across all assigned shifts.




Ensure all security personnel follow site-specific procedures, security protocols, and post orders, and remain informed of any updates.
Monitor CCTV systems to identify and respond to suspicious activity, security concerns, and potential incidents.
Create, issue, update, and manage access cards and permissions in accordance with site access control procedures.
Monitor and manage access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel can enter restricted areas.
Use Microsoft Outlook to communicate with team members, management, and clients, coordinate daily operations, and manage work-related correspondence.
Prepare and maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required security documentation.
Respond to security incidents, investigate concerns, and escalate issues to the appropriate personnel as required.
Ensure compliance with site security requirements, confidentiality standards, and operational procedures.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Security Supervisor
Be authorized to work in Canada
This supervisor position is a key step, but certainly not the last.
Excellent leadership skills
First aid certification - an asset
Hold a valid BC security license
