Our client, a multidisciplinary design and engineering firm with solid presence in Western Canada, is seeking a Structural Engineer out of their Edmonton office. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering a base salary commensurate with experience (approximately $90k-$120k), along with a competitive vacation and benefits package. This position will play a key role in structural design and calculations, preparing drawings and construction services.
Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of municipal, residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including existing buildings and structures
Review engineering design for compliance with established codes, standards, and specifications; provides technical support to designers and drafters
Prepare reports and other technical documentation as required by the client
Communicate with clients, vendors,



and contractors
Support senior staff with inter-discipline coordination, project reporting, and structural analysis and design
Provide general project coordination services
Coordinate with technical staff in preparation of contract drawings and documents and other work tasks
Coordinate structural designs and documents with other disciplines (Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Landscaping, etc.)
Provide structural engineering support during construction, attend site meetings, and carry out field reviews
Eng or registered as an EIT
Degree in Structural Engineering
Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience
