We are a small boutique law firm specializing in Family Law, located in the heart of downtown Barrie, Ontario. A genuine passion for Family Law with excellent communication and mediation skills.
Strong self-motivation and confidence, with the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Proven experience in a Family Law environment, including the ability to handle 25+ files independently.
In-depth knowledge of the Family Law Act and experience with Children’s Aid Society (CAS) matters.




Willingness to work with both Legal Aid and private clients.
Good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and find innovative solutions.
Experience with legal software (familiarity with Amicus is an asset) and comprehensive file management.
This position is best suited for an individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience practicing Family Law. This is a fee-split opportunity for a self-employed individual, with the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely. Basic administrative support is provided for both options.
