At Arrow Engineered Products, we design and manufacture turnkey solutions for a wide range of customers with needs in nuclear, chemical mixing, heat exchanger, and autoclave systems, including fuel storage and various custom-designed pressure and non-pressure systems, all in compliance with ASME, PED, ULC, and API certified design criteria.
Compensation Range: $30.00 up to $38.00 hourly
Set up CNC machines by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and machine settings based on production plans and technical drawings.
Configure machine parameters such as speeds, feeds, and coolant flow to match the material and design requirements.
Conduct test runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure machines are set up correctly before production begins.
Technical Proficiency
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine the setup requirements.
Quality Assurance
Perform initial inspections of machined parts to verify accuracy and conformance to specifications.
Identify and troubleshoot setup-related issues, making adjustments to eliminate defects and improve quality.
Maintain detailed records of machine setups, including tooling configurations and parameter settings.




Keep accurate logs of production activities and part inspections.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure they are in good working condition.
Work closely with CNC operators, programmers, and engineers to optimize machine setups and improve production efficiency.
Communicate effectively with team members to address setup issues and ensure smooth production flow.
Provide guidance and support to CNC operators on machine setup and troubleshooting.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining or a related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machine setup or a similar role.
Strong understanding of CNC Milling Machine operations and setup procedures.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform detailed inspections.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC programming software.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment as needed.
The role is typically performed in a manufacturing or machine shop environment, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other industrial hazards.
