Job : Under the direction of a Program Manager and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Addictions Counsellor-Degree provides a range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a primarily adult community mental health and addiction population.
1yr recognized post grad exp, community setting, concurrent disorder population
Bachelor of Chemical Dependency
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Computer skills
Knowledge in various mental health disorders and stability interventions
- Knowledge in various mental health and addiction and harm reduction strategies
- Knowledge of community resources including treatment programs & support agencies
- Exp. in mental health & addictions community outreach & crisis interventions
