Job : Under the direction of the manager Interprofessional Practice, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for dietetic interns. Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))
- Dietetic Internship certificate
Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
- This position works weekends on a rotation basis.
- Experience as a staff dietitian is preferred.
- Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
- Experience in nutrition support will be considered an asset.
