ScopeThis role is responsible for the safe, effective, and timely movement of materials and finished products throughout the facility. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the press team to ensure uninterrupted production flow.ResponsibilitiesPerform and document daily pre-operational inspections of forklifts and material handling equipmentOperate forklifts safely and efficiently to support press operations and production flowRestock presses with required materials and arrange plated stampings in designated storage areasRemove stamped parts from presses and transport finished goods to staging or shipping areasOrganize, return, and maintain bins, racks, and material storage locationsEnsure lift truck maintenance, servicing, and reporting requirements are met in accordance with company standardsMaintain a clean, orderly, and organized work area to support a safe manufacturing environmentCommunicate regularly with supervisors and production teams to identify and resolve material flow or equipment issuesOperate barcode scanning systems and print labels accurately and efficientlyFollow all workplace health and safety guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Comply with all company policies, procedures,



and quality standardsProvide general administrative and secretarial support to management as assigned.Support and practice KAIZEN principles and participate in related activities (GEAR).Requirements:Hold a valid propane forklift certification with proven experience operating a counterbalance lift truckExperience operating overhead cranes is required; valid overhead crane certification is considered an asset.Demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of forklift or material handling experience (preferred)Demonstrate basic math skills for counting, inventory handling, and material verificationWork independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production settingThis role is a Day shift positionThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
