Position: Food Services Manager
Types: Full time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Wage: CAD$ 28.00 per hour
Working Hours: 30- 40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the food service section;
Plan and control budget and inventory;
Determine type of foods and services to be offered and implement operational procedure;
Monitor sales revenues and modify operating procedures and pricing as necessary;
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies;
Prepare staff work schedules, monitor staff performance, and make scheduling adjustments as necessary;
Recruit, oversee staff training, and conduct performance reviews;
Resolve customer complaints and ensure compliance with applicable health, safety,



and provincial regulations;
Hold staff meetings and address staff concerns and suggestions;
Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering service;
Manage catering service, special events, and advertisements.

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in the food service sector including supervisory experience is required.
Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset
