As part of our continued growth, we have launched a dedicated Architectural Facades division, and we are hiring a Senior Estimator to help build it.This is a rare opportunity to shape a new division inside a reliable, growing company: you will influence how the estimating function is built, develop relationships with the design and construction community, and become an integral part of the division’s long-term success.Position SummaryReporting to the Vice President, Estimating & Preconstruction, the Senior Estimator will lead estimating for the Architectural Facades division. The role requires deep knowledge of commercial cladding systems, robust commercial awareness, and the ability to produce accurate, competitive estimates while supporting the division’s strategic growth. You will be equally comfortable preparing detailed estimates, engaging with clients and consultants, and helping develop estimating procedures and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLead estimating for commercial cladding and building envelope projectsReview tender documents, specifications, drawings and contract requirementsPrepare detailed quantity take-offs for labour, materials, equipment and subcontracted workSolicit, evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers, fabricators and subcontractorsDevelop accurate project budgets, estimates and tender submissionsIdentify value engineering opportunities and alternative construction solutionsAssess project risk and develop appropriate pricing strategiesAttend pre-tender meetings,



site visits and client meetings as requiredWork closely with project management to ensure a smooth handover following awardBuild and maintain relationships with general contractors, consultants, architects, suppliers and manufacturersHelp develop estimating systems, cost databases, productivity rates and standard costing modelsMonitor market conditions, material pricing and industry trendsMentor and support junior estimators as the division growsContribute to business development and strategic planning for the divisionMaintain a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality throughout the tendering processRequired Qualifications8+ years of estimating experience in commercial cladding, building envelope or facade constructionStrong knowledge of ACM panel systems, aluminum plate, metal wall panels, insulated metal panels, standing seam, fibre cement panels, wood siding, rainscreen systems and architectural wall systemsThorough understanding of commercial construction practices and contract documentationAbility to read and interpret architectural, structural and shop drawingsExperience estimating projects ranging from approximately $250,000 to $10 million or moreExcellent mathematical and analytical skillsStrong communication and negotiation abilitiesHighly organized,
