This position operates, repairs, and maintains boilers, air conditioning units, emergency power, and related facility equipment. It also supports mechanical maintenance, repairs, and replacements involving the physical plant, buildings, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Operate boilers, air conditioning, and emergency power equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
Complete mechanical maintenance across buildings and physical plant




Supervise maintenance workers and designated staff as required
Manage contractors and projects as required
Requirements: Certificate of competency as a 4th Class Power Engineer
Grade 10 plus four years’ recent related experience
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Valid British Columbia Driver’s License
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Bring equipment operation, mechanical maintenance, and effective communication skills to support UHNBC facilities in Prince George.
