Deliver occupational therapy across Vancouver General Hospital and UBC Hospital with Vancouver Coastal Health, using assessment and evidence-based practice.

This Occupational Therapist works on VCH’s Allied Health team in Vancouver, British Columbia. The position provides client and family-centred services across a continuum-based care model. You will assess occupational performance, plan outcome-oriented services, evaluate effectiveness, maintain records, and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess clients’ occupational performance using evidence-based approaches
- Plan, implement, and evaluate outcome-oriented occupational therapy services
- Prepare and maintain clinical records
- Participate in interdisciplinary research, education, and meetings




- Contribute to quality improvement and occupational therapy service development

Requirements:

- Current full Occupational Therapist registration with CHCPBC
- Knowledge of occupational therapy theory, practice, tests, and measures
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to provide culturally secure care for diverse populations
