As a Senior Casualty Litigation Claims Specialist, you will manage bodily injury, casualty, and general liability portfolios. You will handle Ontario automobile BI and Commercial General Liability claims, including bodily injury and property damage. The position requires confident stakeholder engagement with underwriting, senior leadership, customers, vendors, and legal representatives. You will investigate claims, confirm coverage, assess liability and quantum, and maintain complete file records. Your judgment will support mediations, pre-trials, settlement initiatives, and direct resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Confirm policy coverage and investigate liability and quantum




Maintain detailed records for complex casualty claim files
Engage underwriting and senior leadership in claim management
Direct and instruct Defence Counsel
Negotiate settlements with claimants and Plaintiff’s Counsel

Requirements:
Three or more years handling Bodily Injury/Casualty Litigation claims
Notable Commercial General Liability claims handling experience
Experience with Ontario auto BI claims
Ability to remain calm in busy operations
Robust communication; English proficiency required across Canada
