The BC Public School Employers’ Association seeks a highly organized Legal Assistant for its CLASS program. Reporting to the Executive Director, Labour Relations, you will support in-house Legal Counsel and Coordinated Legal and Arbitration Support Services. The work involves litigation records, case management systems, witness coordination, and administrative support for leadership and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage litigation timelines and coordinate case documentation
Prepare disclosure, legal correspondence, and hearing materials
Liaise with witnesses, experts, arbitrators, and district representatives




Maintain litigation records and case management systems
Manage calendars and prepare documents and presentations

Requirements:
Legal assistant diploma or certificate
Three years’ legal assistant experience, preferably in labour law
Knowledge of labour arbitration and BC Labour Relations Board processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Case IQ
Robust organization, communication, judgment, and confidentiality
