Their work includes asbestos, lead, and mould abatement, supporting general contractors, property managers, and public-sector clients.Position SummaryAs Senior Estimator, you will lead the bid process from initial opportunity review through final submission, preparing accurate and profitable estimates for demolition and hazardous materials abatement projects.You will review tender packages, analyze drawings and hazardous materials reports, complete detailed quantity take-offs, and develop competitive bids. Working closely with project coordination, operations, and management, you will ensure estimates are practical, compliant with project requirements,



and aligned with company margins and performance targets.Review and qualify inbound leads against company objectivesAnalyze drawings, photos, specifications, addenda, and hazmat surveysReview all scopes of work, including hazmat scopes, and price them for successful completionBuild estimates, budgets, and change orders using proprietary metricsCalculate accurate labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor costsMaintain and update unit pricing for labour, supplies, materials, and servicesReview contract terms and conditionsPrepare project cost and timeline reportsCoordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and engineers, and manage change work formsBuild systems to improve estimating accuracy and efficiencyDeliver estimates and change orders on time, and communicate professionally with clients, subs, and staffQualifications5+ years of general construction estimating experienceWorking knowledge of asbestos, lead, and mould abatement scopes and Work Safe BC requirementsAbility to read drawings, specifications, and hazmat survey reportsStrong Excel skills; experience with estimating software or Buildertrend is an assetUnderstanding of construction contracts and change order processesProject management experience is highly beneficialOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids under deadline#J-18808-Ljbffr
