Opportunities are only limited by your imagination!We look forward to hearing from you and learning how you will grow with us and contribute to our ever-evolving team of egg enthusiasts!RESPONSIBILITIESOversee all functions of the vehicle, such as condition of the vehicle, equipment, and materials, loading and unloading, and safety and security of the loadCheck the reefer temperature to ensure the functionality of the refrigeration system before leaving the yardMaintain the general upkeep and care of the vehicle and report any maintenance/operating problemsObserve all safety, traffic, and criminal laws and regulations while operating a company vehicleMaintain standards of professionalism,



both in appearance and in interactions with customers and the public in generalMaintain paperwork and materials, correctly handling bills and product being deliveredAdjust paperwork and ensure changes are forwarded on for correctionLoad and unload trailers, properly storing product left in trailers when there are returnsPick up and return empty baskets and racks at stores and warehouseEnsuring all food safety issues are communicated with the Transportation SupervisorResponsible for ensuring invoices match product delivered or to revise paperwork to reflect correct amountsComplete Food Service Drivers sales reportResponsible for accurate paperwork, completed time sheets, and trip logsResponsible for materials including baskets, racks, and for the safe handling of product and equipmentAssist co-workers where and when neededEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSClass 1 Driver's License with air brake endorsement. License must be current and driving record must be acceptableMust be skilled at backing up and manoeuvring 35 foot - 53 foot tandem axle trailers into difficult and constricted areasPrevious warehouse experience an assetGrade 12 education preferredForklift and/or pallet jack experiencewould be an asset, but training is provided once on the jobAble to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math skillsP&H Foods Inc. welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
