Lead competitive procurement for Edmonton Public Schools through tender management, contract awards, and vendor agreement administration. This is a full time senior skilled position.

The Senior Procurement Agent executes purchasing functions for the Division and can commit funds for goods, services, and construction. The work includes preparing RFQs and RFPs, evaluating submissions, managing agreements, and advising stakeholders. Public sector procurement expertise and advanced legal knowledge are central.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare RFQ and RFP documents for procurements
Conduct tender processes and post addendums
Evaluate responses and award purchase orders or contracts
Manage vendor agreements throughout their lifecycles
Advise schools, leadership, vendors, and Decision Units

Requirements:
Undergraduate degree
SCMP, CPPB, or equivalent skilled certification
Public sector procurement experience in progressively responsible roles
Advanced knowledge of bid and contract law
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
