Lead food product development at Solina’s Toronto facility, managing Food Scientists and projects from concept through commercialization. The R&D; Manager oversees Toronto Research & Development activities within Solina Canada. This leadership role manages formulation, innovation, technical challenges, and commercialization while aligning projects with customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and strategic objectives. The position collaborates with Commercial, Innovation, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations teams. Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate multiple R&D; projects against business priorities and timelines Lead formulation and product development through commercialization Coach, mentor, and develop Food Scientists Resolve ingredient, process,



and product performance challenges Provide technical expertise during customer meetings and plant trials Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related discipline Seven years of progressive food manufacturing R&D; experience Three years of technical team people management experience Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and quality standards English communication skills; French is an asset Bring food science leadership, project management, and commercialization expertise to Solina’s Toronto R&D; team.
