Support financial assurance documentation at TC Energy as a Paralegal, using document review and solid organizational skills in a hybrid work model. Collaborate with legal and business teams across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

This Paralegal supports the Counterparty Risk, Financial Assurances team. The work includes preparing, negotiating and administering financial assurance documentation with internal and external Legal, analysts, business partners and counterparties. Success requires accuracy, sound judgment, client service and ownership from initial request through record management.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, negotiate and execute financial assurance documentation
Review documents against templates, contracts and negotiated terms
Administer amendments, renewals, replacements, expiries and reporting




Draft correspondence and supporting financial assurance documentation
Maintain accurate records in approved systems and repositories

Requirements:
Recognized Legal Assistant or Paralegal program completion
At least four years of Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience
Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Solid organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
