This Educator develops and implements competency-based curriculum within a culturally rich learning workplace. The work emphasizes Indigenous cultures, diversity, equity, inclusion, and Northwest Territories Inclusive Schooling practices. Collaboration with educators, Elders, and community members strengthens educational programs and local relevance.

Develop land-based learning prospects and traditional practices
Engage community members to improve educational programs

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education
Eligibility for a Northwest Territories Teaching Certificate
Understanding of Indigenous cultures, history, and traditions
Experience with inquiry-based instruction and competency-based assessment
Knowledge of land-based education principles and practices
