Coordinate Go Global programs at UBC using student advising, project management, and information systems expertise. Support visiting and outbound students across international learning pathways.

The Global Engagement Associate Advisor develops and delivers programs for exchange, research, and other learning opportunities. You will improve processes, coordinate recruitment events, maintain partnerships, and provide timely guidance on applications, admissions, courses, and housing. You will also help students navigate complex university and partner systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Review and redesign processes to improve service and system use
Develop programs for visiting students from partner universities
Coordinate events promoting international learning experiences




Facilitate individual and group advising sessions
Investigate technical difficulties and resolve application discrepancies

Requirements:
Relevant undergraduate degree with one to two years’ related experience
Post-secondary advising or student services experience preferred
Robust written, verbal, listening, organization, and time management skills
Ability to interpret policy and make sound decisions
Qualified integrity, confidentiality, initiative, and effective teamwork
