The AMS is recruiting a permanent, part time Building Operations Maintenance Assistant for its Student Union Building. This hourly position supports ongoing maintenance and repair of venues, equipment, building fabric, and fittings. Work follows AMS standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Food Secure Standards and WHMIS. The role may suit candidates completing education or bringing industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Support building closing with the Building Operations Duty Manager
Guide members of the public out during closing
Assemble, lift, move, and maintain facility items
Order supplies according to AMS procedures
Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and supplies safely

Requirements:
Trades background is an asset
Trade certifications are an asset
Positive attitude and solid work ethic
Intermediate computer skills
Physical ability to perform maintenance duties and repairs
