Support Torex Gold’s gold projects with mechanical design review, technical assurance, and engineering contractor coordination in Canada.As Senior Engineer, Mechanical, you will guide mechanical engineering activities for Los Reyes, Morelos, and other capital work. Responsibilities include evaluating practical designs, resolving technical issues, and supporting project and operations teams. The preferred location is the Greater Toronto Area.Key Responsibilities:




Manage mechanical design development against scope and standardsChallenge assumptions and drive contractor issues to resolutionEvaluate contractor proposals and engineering scopes of workSupport supply and construction contract technical managementCoordinate responses to mechanical requests for informationRequirements:
Mechanical Engineering degree or related bachelor’s qualificationFive to eight years in mining project environmentsExperience preparing and reviewing mechanical specificationsAbility to assess designs and recommend practical alternativesWillingness to travel to Mexico approximately two visits quarterlyBring mining equipment knowledge, transparent communication, and disciplined mechanical oversight to Torex Gold’s project delivery work.
